Religion The students will take a unit test Monday (open-book). We will then learn about and discuss the themes of Catholic Social Teaching. The students will be placed into groups. Each group must define their specific teaching, illustrate it on a poster, and explain it to the class. Our last memorization test, Psalm 23: 1-6, will take place this week. The student may either memorize the psalm and write it down OR recite it to the class. The student can choose which day to take the test, but it must be done by Friday, May 27th.
Social Studies Knights....Castles....Kings.....Ladies....Lords.....the Church....Monasteries....Serfs....Guild...will come alive in Europe in the Middle Ages! We begin Chapter 5. Each student has a topic to research on in the Middle Ages; they must write 20 GOOD facts in written form and present them to the class. This is due FRIDAY, May 27th and will count as a project grade (which equals a test grade). We will use the time in computers this Wed. to research; otherwise, the student must research on their own.
